Welcome to the Gender and Media Community discussion forums.

Firstly you will see a table showing you the list of topics in the discussion, the number of replies to the topic, the login of the person who wrote the topic and the latest date of the discussion.

Reading topics
If you want to read any of the topics in the discussion, just click on the topic name.
You will then see the text of the discussion as well as the details of the person writing the topic and the date.

To reply to the topic of discussion
There are three ways of replying – choose the one that most suits your needs

1. REPLY – click the reply button just under the topic text to reply to the text and quote what the previous person said. You can also add a file from your computer when you click REPLY. Click on the ADD REPLY button at the bottom of the screen to save and add your reply.
2. QUICK REPLY – click on the Quick Reply button under the text to just a quick reply. This does not quote any previous text and no attachments. This is the easiest option to reply. Click on the ADD REPLY button at the bottom of the screen to save and add your reply.
3. ADD REPLY – click on the Add Reply button under the text to add your reply. This does not quote previous text but does let you add a file from your own computer. Click on the ADD REPLY button at the bottom of the screen to save and add your reply.

To start a new topic
If you would like to start a new topic for discussion, click on the NEW TOPIC button.
Fill in the Topic Title e.g. Financing gender and the media.
Fill in a short description for the topic.
In the big white box, type in your text. You can also add a file from your computer if you need to. Once done, click on the “Add New Topic” button to save your text and to the forum.

Tout d’abord, un tableau apparaîtra avec la liste des thèmes en cours de discussions, le nombre de réponses par thème, le nom de l’utilisateur qui a écrit le thème et la dernière date de la discussion.

Lecture des thèmes

Si vous voulez lire n’importe lequel des thèmes en cours de discussions, cliquez sur le nom du thème. Vous verrez alors apparaître sur votre écran le texte de la discussion en cours, de même que les détails à propos de l’auteur du thème et la date.

Pour répondre aux thèmes de discussions

Il y a trois moyens d’y répondre – choisissez celui qui convient le mieux à vos besoins.

1. REPLY (REPONSE) – cliquez sur le bouton REPLY (REPONSE) figurant juste sous le texte lié au thème pour y répondre et citez ce que votre prédécesseur a dit. Vous pouvez aussi ajouter un fichier à partir de votre ordinateur quand vous cliquez sur le bouton REPLY (REPONSE). Cliquez ensuite sur le bouton ADD REPLY (AJOUTEZ REPONSE) figurant au bas de votre écran pour sauvegarder et ajouter votre réponse.
2. QUICK REPLY (REPONSE RAPIDE) – cliquez sur le bouton QUICK REPLY (REPONSE RAPIDE) figurant sous le texte. A ce moment-là, vous n’avez pas à citer vos prédécesseurs, ni y adjoindre un fichier. Ceci est l’option de réponse la plus facile. Cliquez ensuite sur le bouton ADD REPLY (AJOUTEZ REPONSE) qui figure au bas de votre écran pour sauvegarder et ajouter votre réponse.
3. ADD REPLY (AJOUTEZ REPONSE) – Cliquez sur le bouton ADD REPLY sous le texte pour ajouter votre réponse. Cette manœuvre ne vous montrera pas les citations précédentes mais vous laissera ajouter un fichier à partir de votre ordinateur. Cliquez ensuite sur le bouton ADD REPLY (AJOUTEZ REPONSE) au bas de votre écran pour sauvegarder et ajouter votre réponse.


Pour aborder un nouveau thème

Si vous voulez aborder un nouveau thème de discussions, cliquez sur le bouton NEW TOPIC (NOUVEAU THEME). Donnez-lui un titre comme par exemple Le financement du genre et des médias.
Faites un bref résumé du thème.
Tapez votre texte dans le grand encadré blanc. Vous pouvez aussi y joindre un fichier à partir de votre ordinateur si vous estimez que c’est nécessaire. Une fois fait, cliquez sur le bouton ADD NEW TOPIC (AJOUTEZ NOUVEAU THEME) pour sauvegarder votre texte et accéder au forum de discussions.
